About Tomorrow

Sketch14416514_top

I know nothing about tomorrow.
Others who have given up on today
will write something about it.

Summer leaves can fall from
limbs too soon.
I watch the wind twirl them,
front to back,
head over heels.

Is there nothing here to want?
Look at the time that may not come!
Lose sleep if you must.

Watch for first light:
a little of tomorrow.
Tell me the truth about it.
